A poignant day in ST. Joseph's Primary School

On Wednesday 23^rd November, staff & pupils marked a very poignant day in the life of St. Joseph’s PS. With the children taking receipt of their new school on the 1^st December, focus shifted to commemorating the old school.

With this in mind each class set about creating an array of work which celebrated life as we currently know it in St. Joseph’s. These “class projects” where then added to a “time capsule” which was buried to the front of the new school. The time capsule will be officially opened in fifty years time. In this way some of the memories of life in the current school can be preserved for future generations.
