On Friday 4th October, children from Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2 gathered to celebrate the hard work of pupils during the 3rd week of the Accelerated Reading scheme.
Firstly, Mr. Loughran awarded pupils who have been making a special effort over the 3rd week with a Star reader trophy. Awards were also given to pupils from each class who have reached particularly high word counts. This week the winners were:
Primary 3: Roise McGeary - 3,874 words
Primary 4: Danu McKinney 96, 115 words
Primary 5: Niamh Maguiness 86,327
Primary 6: Sadie McCusker: 100,636 words
Primary 7: Hannah Gray 88,686
Thus far, the effort made by pupils in the accelerated reading scheme has been brilliant. Well done boys and girls! Keep up the hard work!
