As a reward to all of our pupils who participated in the Accelerated Reading programme, we welcomed Armagh county stars, Niall Grimley and Darragh McMullan to St Joseph’s on Monday.
Niall and Darragh first faced a gruelling Q&A session, answering questions posed by our pupils. The boys were inspirational, talking about Armagh, Madden, training, diet and of course their time in primary school. Afterwards our pupils enjoyed a coaching session on the football field working with Niall and Darragh on fundamental skills.
To round the day off our pupils enjoyed an ice cream which went down a treat, despite the wintry conditions?
