Christmas Carol Service

14th Dec 2017

Tuesday 12th December was a special day for all at St. Joseph's as pupils performed their Christmas Carol Service. The children showcased their musical talents in a morning and evening performance. In attendance were parents, grandparents, siblings and our Board of Governors who were all eager to view the special performance. The carols, music, poetry and dance were fantastic and our pupils deserve great praise for their hard work in preparing for the event. Many thanks also to Tracy McElvanna, Julie McElvanna, Brenda English and Catherine Hughes for their wonderful contribution to the night.

Also in attendance was past pupil and Armagh senior footballer Niall Grimley. Having represented Ireland in the recent Compromised Rules Series in Australia, Niall kindly returned to St. Joseph's to donate his Ireland jersey which will be proudly displayed in our school. The pupils greatly enjoyed the opportunity to hear Niall speak about his journey and hopefully in the future we will have many more county representatives from St. Joseph's.

Pictured are some of our pupils during rehearsals for the performance. Well done boys and girls!
