On Thursday 22nd November, boys from P6 and P7 met at St Patrick’s High School Keady to take part in an indoor football blitz. In attendance were Our Lady and St. Mochua’s Derrynoose, St. Mary’s Granemore and St Francis of Assissi Keady, St. John's Middletown and Clea Primary school.
The event followed a mini league format in which pupils were offered the opportunity to compete with children of the same age from each of the attending schools. Using the brilliant indoor facilities of St. Patrick’s HS, children put on a fantastic exhibition of football. Whilst slow to start the boys soon found their form and eventually emerged victorious.
The indoor football team will now progress to "All-county" stages in a bid to qualify for Ulster. Well done boys!
