Primary 6 & 7 visit the Ulster American Folk Park

On Friday 15th April Children from Primary 6 and 7 visited the Ulster American Folk Park. Having studied The Great Famine as a "World Around Us" topic, children dressed as typical Irish emigrants. The trip supported much of the topic work covered in class and offered children a unique opportunity to meet characters from their class novel "Under the Hawthorne Tree".
