Pupils in primary seven meet teachers from AMMA

This year children in Mr. Hart's class will have the unique opportunity to complete a digital media project with the support of the AMMA centre. AMMA is a multimedia creative learning centre based in Armagh. It provides support to schools in the Southern Education and Library Board in aspects of digital media.

On Monday 23rd January primary six and seven pupils received a visit from representatives of AMMA. The children were offered the chance to plan the early stages of a short film which will be based on The Irish Famine.

The children were extremely enthusiastic and are eagerly awaiting future stages in the project in which they will shoot and edit their films.
