Young writers and Certificates

On Friday 30th November, children gathered to listen to samples of work from each class in the school. This month children focussed on letter writing. The "young writers" read their work to staff and pupils. The standard was excellent and pupils read very confidently.

Each month more children will read samples of their work. Keep your eyes peeled as their photographs will be uploaded to the school website.

Certificates were also awarded by class teachers, to children who were working very hard or who had contributed to school life. Mr Lougran also awarded Kerri-Sue Hughes and Ellie Coyle with a special certificate for their hard work with the LEXIA programme.
