County Camogie Champions Visit St. Joseph's

On Wednesday 19th October, pupils from KS1 & KS2 received a special visit from a number of Madden senior camogie players and past pupils of St. Joseph's. In attendance were Gemma McCann, Emma MCGuigan, Michelle Morgan, Sinead Kiernan, Ciara Mallon and Laura McGuinness.

Accompanying our guests was a very important piece of silveware which all at St. Joseph's were keen to see. Having won the senior camogie championship on Sunday 31st August in a thrilling victory over Keady spirits were high. Needless to say, all our pupils were keen to show their appreciation to the Madden Camogs.

The staff and pupils of St Joseph's would like to congratulate all those who played a role in Madden's impressive championship victory and to wish the team every success as they progress to the Ulster stages of the competition.
