My star readers for this week are...

This week's Primary Five Star Reader Award is going to Oisin Coyle who has been working steadily towards reaching his target from the start of this homeschooling period. Oisin has achieved 33.6% of his target at this early stage! He has read a total of twenty-one books at home, which I'm delighted to see. Well done Oisin, keep up the super work!

This week’s Primary Six Star Reader Award is going to Ethan McCann who has achieved 16.6% of his target by reading an impressive six books. I know these books are very long Ethan but you’re doing a great job! I am delighted to see you’re working hard on your Accelerated Reading this term! Keep it up, I hope you're enjoying your time reading!

Keep up the great work boys and girls.

Remember boys and girls, it's not all about reaching your target during this time at home. This time is actually an ideal time for you to find the best books for you and books that you really want to read. I would love for you to find a particular author that you really like during this time.

I hope you enjoyed the comprehension task set on Monday based on the famous children's author Roald Dahl. Keep your eyes peeled for next week's comprehension task,  I think he's an author many of you are interested in...

Stay safe everyone
