Mr Hart's Sumdog Update

22nd May 2020

Good morning boys and girls and well done after another busy week on SUMDOG. It's brilliant to see the progress you are making and the hard work you are showcasing. I am particularly pleased to see pupils spending that little bit longer on the app working on skills specified by Sumdog.  This week, the awards for most time spent on Sumdog go to:

Most Time Spent on Sumdog

Jake Kiernan (2 hours 55 minutes)

Kealan Hughes (1hour 30minutes)

Cara McGeary ( 1hour 27 minutes)

Ella Toal (44 minutes)

As part of their  home school timetable, pupils in Mr Hart's class complete a Sumdog maths assessment each week. This week pupils focussed on symmetry and time. Well done to all of the pupils who took part in the assessment on Wednesday:

  • Ben Smith
  • Ella Toal
  • Harry Smith
  • Liam McGarvey
  • Sean Woods
  • Sorcha McKinney
  • Annie McElvanna

  • Eimear Cox
  • Jake Kiernan
  • Kealan Hughes

  • Maja Kiernan

I have sent you a reward of 200 coins which you can use in your Sumdog house.

Sumdog Weekly Competition

Pupils in Primary 6 and 7 also took part in a Sumdog X-tables competition this morning. The pupils were challenged to recall as many X-tables as possible  (up to 12X) in a five minute period. Well done to everyone who took part! I hope you all had fun competing.
