P4 Sumdog updates

7th May 2020

Good morning boys and girls, we have made it to the end of another, albeit slightly shorter week. Again children you continue to impress me on how well you are completing the work I set. I can see from all your results you are working consistently and conscientiously week on week.

This weeks Sumdog results are very pleasing indeed. I can see the amount or time spent on Sumdog increasing week on week, the accuracy in your answers and the number of questions answered is increasing.

This week I set a challenge involving addition, subtraction, odd and even numbers, money, time and a variety of times tables.

Twenty three children scored over 90% correct which is a fantastic result.
The following 10 children were the top 10 scorers in my challenge

  1. Leah Fegan
  2. Sarah McKenna
  3. Jack Lappin
  4. Kacey Cox
  5. Lelia Hughes
  6. Caela Stapleton
  7. Brannagh Smith
  8. Rachael McCann
  9. Finn McGoldrick
  10. Conor McGoldrick

Well done to the above children and to everyone who took part in the challenge.

As well as completing my set challenge a lot of you have also spent time on Sumdog brushing up on your numeracy skills which is fantastic to see, it’s a testament to your enthusiasm children and your parents encouragement. Please keep this up.
