On Friday 20th November, pupils from Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2 celebrated the excellent progress made in our Accelerated Reading programme.
Firstly, a pupil from each class received the “Star Reader” award for making a particular effort with their reading. Last week, the winners were:

Special prizes were also awarded to pupils who achieved exceptionally high word counts:

As a result of the great effort made with accelerated reading, many more pupils have now reached their personal target for this term securing their place to the school cinema day.
