As part of our WAU topic on ‘Natural Disasters’, we have been learning all about earthquakes. The children have explored what causes earthquakes and how they are measured.
The children worked brilliantly in teams on a practical STEM challenge. Using only spaghetti and marshmallows, they designed earthquake safe towers. Once constructed, we tested them to see if they could withstand ‘the shake’! ?
