Accelerated Reading Awards

On Friday 12th February, pupils from Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2 celebrated the fantastic effort made on our Accelerated Reading programme this week.

Firstly, one pupil from each class received the “Star Reader” award for making a particular effort with their reading. This week, the  winners were:

  • Amelia Kiernan (P6)
  • Eabhí Woods (P7)

Special prizes were also awarded to pupils who read an exceptional number of words this week:

Incredibly, P7 pupil Eabhí Woods has now reached the milestone of becoming a word millionaire. Eabhí has read over 1 million words since the beginning of the year. Enjoy spending your well earned prize Eabhí!!
