Accelerated Reading Awards

On Friday 25th January, children from Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2 gathered to celebrate the hard work of pupils during the first two weeks of the Accelerated Reading scheme.

Firstly, Mr. Loughran awarded pupils who had managed to maintain 100% accuracy throughout the first two weeks of the programme. Having read their books and taken the subsequent quizzes, these children managed to answer every question on their books correctly.

Awards were also given to pupils from each class who had made a particular effort over the first two weeks. 

Finally, a special award was given to P6 pupil, Oisin Smith who iss the first pupil to reach his personal target.

Thus far, the effort made by pupils in the accelerated reading scheme has been brilliant. Well done boys and girls! Keep up the hard work!
