Final Accelerated Reading Awards

Friday 3rd May marked the final day of this terms accelerated reading programme. The programme has proven to be a massive success with the children displaying genuine interest in reading.

With a lot of hard work, everyone has now managed to reach their reading target. As a result children will have the chance to compete in the St. Joseph's Wipeout challenge on Wednesday 8th May.

Pictured are some of the children receiving their wipeout passes as well as a number of pupils who achieved personal awards for having achieved over 150% of their target.

Mr Loughran also presented P7 pupils Eoin Donnelly & Orlaith Daly with a special awrd for becoming word millionaires. Eoin and Orlaith managed to read over 1,000,000 words this year.
