Mr Hart's class attend poetry workshop

On Thursday 6th October, children in Mr Hart's class attended a poetry workshop at the Navan Centre & Fort. The workshop offered children the opportunity to work with a local poet and reinforced much of the literacy work which has been covered in class.

The theme of the day was "games" which allowed children to plan a poem from their own experience. Children also witnessed how games have changed throughout the ages and were introduced to a Victorian traveller and a Celtic resident of Ireland.
