No Pylons here!

On Monday 14th December, pupils in Mrs Smith's class had the opportunity to meet community member Joseph Woods regarding the continued issue of pylons in Madden. As many are no doubt aware, there are revised plans to place the North South inter-connector across counties Monaghan, Armagh and Tyrone. Madden unfortunately falls within the proposed route which could have lasting health, environmental and social consequences for our community. The pupils were keen to investigate these issues with Joseph and to write their letters of objection to the proposed scheme. Pictured are Mrs. Smith's class with Joseph Woods:
